We love our planet and therefore we want to use our planet`s resources as efficient as possible.

 

We are using renewable energy sources as much as we can.

We also have a rainwater tank where we will collect rainwater.

We plan to use this rainwater in our toilets. This will follow soon!

Our smart home system automatically regulates the temperature as needed so that we minimize energy consumption. Every room has its own thermostat.

On January 1st 2022, I saw dolphins swimming a few meters in front of me.

I was sitting on the beach, while thinking about whether I should take a quick “Wim Hof” jump into the cold water, when I saw those stunning animals. I had never seen real dolphins in my life before, so you can imagine my amazement!

The moment was so perfect! I will never forget the sounds they made while swimming on the surface!

And I truly hope that you will also be able to experience moments like this during your stay in Rogoznica.

My husband Elvis and I bought our little gem in Rogoznica in 2021.

Elvis always wanted to have a house at the Sea, so we decided to buy this one to spend many wonderful and memorable moments with family and friends here. We use it as much as we can. But because we live in Switzerland, we decided to rent it out when we are not there to share our beautiful gem with as many people as possible.

We are both Austrians, born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and now live in Switzerland.

We have visited many places around the world and appreciate the easygoing and slow way of life in Rogoznica. Unlike other touristic places, people live in Rogoznica throughout the year.

We have already enjoyed a warm mulled wine under palm trees during one of the Christmas Markets. And we have found our fisherman of trust who provides us with our daily fresh fish during the off-season period. This is the place where I eat the freshest fish of my life – caught in the morning and on the plate for lunch.

Rogoznica is very accessible and conveniently located.

It is only a 32 km drive from the international Split airport (SPU) and close to popular touristic destinations, such as Primosten (8km drive), Trogir (30 km drive), Sibenik (38 km drive) and Split (53 km drive). An adventurous trip to the impressive National Park Krka is only a 44 km drive away.
Rogoznica is a beautiful small village with ~2300 inhabitants (2011) who live there throughout the whole year. 

Some whispers call it the “Monte Carlo” of Croatia and if you love sailing, the Marina Frapa will offer you everything you need.
